Great Lakes Label LLC was established by John “Tony” Cook in 2002 with the vision to provide extraordinary value to customers by offering complete turnkey solutions for label and label application requirements. Great Lakes Label LLC is a complete custom solution provider for the production and application of labels. We currently offer a wide range of pressure sensitive labels in order to solve any label requirement or label project need. Our vision is to solve our customer’s toughest label requirement.Our primary mission is to serve our customers in the best way possible. In addition to pressure sensitive labels, Great Lakes Label LLC currently ships The Label Gator™, an Automated Print & Apply labeling system for the Horticultural industry. The Label Gator™ was developed with the vision to meet new demands growers are faced with from retailers and “big box” stores.Great Lakes Label LLC has formulated specific label constructions that are necessary for the unique horticultural labeling environments.
Great Lakes Label Capabilities:
Our capabilities include manufacturing the highest quality labels using Flexographic and Digital Printing Technologies as well as Color Management processes. Our recent additions consist of the Mark Andy P5 and the use of HD Plate Technology. In addition to our advanced print presses and HD plates, We use superior technology and equipment to eliminate color mistakes and maintain consistent color matching Using an X-Rite Spectrophotometer and Software, leaving no room for human error. Standards are set and matched based on Pantone or our customer’s custom color making each and every run consistent.Often times our clients are in need of a label but do not have a particular design in mind or need help with creating the label or choosing the correct stock materials. Because this is often a daunting task for our customer,Great Lakes Label LLC works as a research and development arm for a number of companies. We have an onsite R&D department where our staff develops application spe cific materials and adhesives for pressure sensitive labels and engineered adhesive components. Our company has been consistently recognized with AIB’s Superior Rating Recognition of High Achievement and is ISO 9001:2008. We pride ourselves on quality and are continuously improving our manufacturing processes.
