The current owners of United Metal Products, Leonard MacEachern and Mike Mattei, bought the metal stamping company in 2007 at a critical juncture in the company’s history. With the experienced staff of UMP, the transition was seamless for customers. Throughout the challenges within the industry, UMP’s owners have chosen to guard their employees’ jobs when tough decision had to be made as well as to expand our customer base outside of automotive circles. UMP is also in the process of acquiring HUBZone certification.
