GOING AGAINST THE GRAIN

Iron Fish Distillery was founded in 2016 and was the first farm distillery growing grain and distilling spirits and barrel fishing sourced whiskey in Michigan. The farm attracts over 100,000 guests each year to the agricultural destination, reborn on a long-time abandoned 120-acre farm.

Iron Fish’s library of barrel ages spirits is over 2,400 barrels, consisting of sourced farm barrel finished whiskies and estate whiskies distilled from grain grown on the farm and other nearby local farms. Located along the Betsie River, Iron Fish takes inspiration from the beautiful Steelhead fish that the river is home to.
