ACT Tourniquet

Use ACT – quick, intuitive, metal spring closure vs breakable plastic, dual closure, marked application spot on comfortable fabric strap. ACT is a dual pressure tourniquet to buy more time for life and limb by applying pressure where needed to stop bleeding, but not elsewhere to allow side circulation and preserve limb tissues longer. Even if amputation occurs, it does not have to be above the tourniquet, so there is more muscle and nerve to allow use of newer prosthetics. Function is directly related to length of limb at amputation. Made in Michigan.
