Lakeland Mills began manufacturing quality wooden products in 1928. Lakeland Mills continues to improve, redesign, and develop styles that provide customers with the most unique, highest-quality furniture at the lowest possible price. In 1991, Lakeland Mills was purchased by three long-time employees. The product lines expanded to living room sets, bedroom furniture, dining room tables and outdoor living furniture. The outdoor furniture is manufactured from simple, clean-peeled cedar logs because of its natural resistance to rot and insect infestation.  Lakeland Mills designs custom pieces that families will cherish for generations. Lakeland Mills supports Michigan by purchasing everything possible from local suppliers. Lakeland Mills is concerned with the environment and utilizes trees that would normally be discarded from the log home industry.
