Spectrum Industries is a privately held, second generation, family-owned company headquartered in Grand Rapids Michigan. We employ nearly 300 talented team members.

Founded in 1979, Spectrum E-Coat is a wholly owned subsidiary of Spectrum Industries. Our 220,000 sq. ft. production facilities include state-of-the-art electrodeposition paint systems consisting of 11 stage zinc phosphate pretreatment and black cathodic epoxy. Our operations allow us to apply a high corrosion protective coating to an average of 550,000 parts daily. Our process is organic, lead free, HAPS free and RoHS compliant. We also offer welding and assembly of metal parts for the automotive, office furniture and general industries.

In 2015, Spectrum Industries developed RAYN Technology, a surface decoration technology that combines a proprietary laser software and design technique to create unparalleled surface finishes.  RAYN can imitate the look and feel of wood or create a stylized graphic unique to your brand. Our technique is more cost-effective than other methods and provides additional functional advantages such as backlighting, mass customization, and microprinting.

Spectrum Automated Solutions was formed in 2022 by Spectrum Industries to provide robotic solutions for manufactures within a wide range of industries.  We conceptualize, design, build and provide on-going support for manufacturers seeking cost-effective processes to meet their automation needs.
